Lina Jalala
is an independent actress from Latvia. She began acting in 2004 at Theatre Club “Hamlets” in Riga where she learned acting technique, voice and movement for a year and performed in theatre showcases by-weekly. She then moved to Dublin in 2005 and continued training in acting and improvisation. Lina was awarded “Acting Diploma” by Irish Board of Speech and Drama and “Acting for Camera” certificates by Gaiety School of Acting. Lina is constantly attending acting courses and workshops to keep the craft of acting fresh. Lina has appeared in short films “If I Would Have Been Back Home” and “Night Out In Killashandra” by LiMiNi Creative, short film “What?” by Iceboy Films and feature film “Sonny Capone” by Gerard Daly. Lina also has experience in recording voice overs and is fluent in Russian and Latvian languages along with English.
